Accessing Family Planning Services
Through the Expanding Malawi HIV and AIDS Prevention with Local Organizations Working for an Effective Epidemic Response (EMPOWER), CHAM is offering comprehensive sexual reproductive health and gender-based violence services in the DREAMS Clubs in Machinga and Zomba.

Training of Healthcare Workers
CHAM trains 80% of Malawi’s mid-level healthcare professionals, making it the main partner in the development of human resources for health.
95% of CHAM trainees have their fees paid through the scholar program. By 2020, CHAM with funding from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has supported 566 needy students from 9 CHAM training colleges that were enrolled in 2016 and 2017. Some of the cadres that were supported are NMT, Biomed, DCM md CCM.

COVID-19 Response
To respond to the COVID-19 pandemic CHAM, set up COVID-19 treatment and holding centers in 40 CHAM facilities in all the regions.
