Welcome to the Christian Health Association of Malawi (CHAM), the biggest faith-based non-profit organization in Malawi (10,000+ employees) and (a USD30M+annual budget) which implements health programmes and provides healthcare services to 30 percent of the population through its 187 health facilities and also trains up to 80 percent of the health care workforce through its 11 training colleges in Malawi.
Established over 60 years ago, CHAM is motivated by the Healing Ministry of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
Our mission is to coordinate members by providing administrative, technical and financial support for better and effective delivery of healthcare services and training of human resources for health.
For almost a decade, CHAM has remained a key partner of the Government of Malawi through the Ministry of Health. In our efforts of providing quality health services, we understand that meeting our standards is essential to the success of our organization. As an organization, we can thankfully say that the past years have been significant years and it has clearly shown that we have intensively delivered our best performance.
