Scholarship Programs

CHAM offers need-based and merit-based scholarship programs at all of its training colleges, for all clinical degrees. A vast majority of CHAM training college students are on full or partial scholarship.

Our scholarship programs make it possible for CHAM students to afford a quality education, and allow CHAM training colleges to further our mission of ending the human resources for health crisis in Malawi. In 2019, 431 students completed their studies bringing the total number of students who have completed their studies under the scholarship to 473 as 42 students finished in 2018.

Notably, as part of the CHAM-CDC HIV/AIDS Project, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has sponsored a record number of CHAM trainees.

Applying to Scholarships

Applications to scholarships are coordinated through training colleges, and is typically within the normal college application process. See our admissions page for more information.
